Historian and scholar Prof. Israel Knohl of Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem, Israel, discusses his controversial findings and translation of the prophetic text written on the historic "Gabriel Stone" that was publicized last year. Prof. Knohl, author of a new book on the subject, Messiahs and Resurrection in the Gabriel Revelation, believes a Jewish prophecy of a resurrected messiah informed the historical Jesus in his days as a prophetic Jewish rabbi in ancient Israel before his Crucifixion. This finding, coming as Pope Gregory visits the Holy Land, will shake up Jewish and Christian belief, scholarship and interfaith relations. |
